Kirkton Public School is a situated in the Lower Hunter Valley in an area known as Lower Belford. Most enrolments come from this area but with some from the Belford and Branxton areas. The families are from diverse occupational backgrounds but from a narrow range of ethnic and racial groups. The school seeks to provide a secure and positive learning environment catering for each individual child's needs.
